Nose & Sinus

Nasal/Sinus

The Ear, Nose, and Throat physicians offer a number of minimally invasive nasal and sinus procedures that can improve chronic sinus infection, constant nasal congestion, and constant nasal drainage. Our expert physicians are able to provide detailed exams in one office visit using the following:

  • Endoscopic evaluation to examine nose, sinus, and throat cavities
  • In-office CT imaging
  • Polyp or mass biopsy
  • 3D surgical imaging
  • Minimally invasive surgical techniques
  • In-office procedures

The experienced ENT physicians offer high-tech, safe and effective sinus and nasal treatment options, including the following:

Endoscopic Sinus Surgery
If you have chronic sinusitis that has not responded to medications, you may benefit from Endoscopic Sinus Surgery. This is a minimally invasive operation under anesthesia to open the sinus passages allowing better drainage. The operation is often performed using 3-D imaging to improve safety.

Balloon Sinuplasty
If you’re suffering from chronic sinusitis and have exhausted your treatment options, you may be a candidate for Balloon Sinuplasty. This minimally invasive surgical solution is a safe and effective method of enlarging your sinus passages for easier breathing and a drastic reduction in sinusitis symptoms. Balloon sinuplasty is performed in the office with minimal discomfort and rapid recovery.

Vivaer Therapy
The doctor performs the Vivaer procedure right in the office and reshapes your nasal tissues gently, helping you to breathe better. We use a small hand-held device that uses controlled radiofrequency energy to reshape your nose tissues without any incisions, helping improve airflow.

Deviated Septum
A deviated septum happens when the wall of tissue in the middle of the nose is off-center. Most people have septums that are off-center, but this can sometimes cause symptoms like difficulty breathing, sinus infections, and congestion. For most patients, this condition can be managed through decongestants and antihistamines that aim to reduce nasal congestion. For more severe cases, surgery involves a procedure called a septoplasty to reposition the septum in the center of the nose.
